Is the File size counter locking on and counting?  Are you creating .wav 
files?...if so what size are they?...if you are creating files and they are 
over ... oh maybe 1 meg and the pics are still white you have too much audio 
gain....turn down your output/mixer/input till you get black and then turn it 
up for grays.....
