Quick question, can we possibly record one source and monitor on the
other. I'm running XP and can set Capture to microphone and use packet
output. I can then set Volume Control to mute the microphone and listen
to Line In which is connected to Speaker Output. TalkPCR then records
passes using the Capture setting as evident by the changes in TalkPCRs
reording levels when I adjust the Microphone levels in Capture.
Next question do I have the right source plugged into the right input -
Packet to Mic and Audio to Line In? I am very new to all this, using
packet output should I be hearing a lot of static ?
I seem to get one great image a day from NOAA 17 and all the others ,
both passes and satellites are full of artifacts and static or worse. Of
course that could be the fact the antenna still sits on a low wall in
front of a thick house :-)
