[PCR-1000] PCR1K -- #02408 Date of manufacture?

My unit, SN 0677*, was purchased just under one year ago, and the date 
codes on the Caps
suggest they were made in May, 2002.
  IF the serial numbers are sequential, your unit is one of 4330 before 
June '02.
  Check your date codes...
