Windows 98 (and the Second Edition revision) is a 32 bit platform (i.e.
supports software written to the Win32 programming specification) that =
also
supports 16 bit software (software written for the Win16 programming
specification supported by the Windows 3.x platform) as well via a =
process
called "Thunking".  Windows 2000 is also 32 bit platform that also =
supports
16 bit software, but not software that bypasses OS services and =
communicates
directly with hardware, such as a serial port which usually is Win16
software (written for Windows 3.x). Win32 software by design cannot =
access
the hardware directly.

I saved a copy  a couple of years ago and I recently tired to
bring it up, but I get an error something about it not being a
32 bit program? I'm using Win98SE....Just curious as to what
this means? I'm not all that computer savy....Thanks...
