[PCR-1000] New Trunking Software

Thanks for the suggestions Jay, but I still haven't heard a peep from the
PCR-1000. Trust me, everything is set up correctly. Your program appears to
be functioning fine. These are 800 MHz Moto type II systems that I have been
monitoring for years. The dump is fine and agrees with each transmission
being monitored on a Pro-2053 at the same time. Control (the Trunker
look-alike) is duplicating those freqs I have set in memory. I wonder if
this is a memory issue, as in channel memory. What is the correct or
preferred method for entering freqs? Should I be entering freqs in memory
mode or manual mode? My Soyo Dragon Plus MB has the integral audio and I
might try disabling it and using a plug-in sound card to see if that makes a
difference.

Hi J.T.,
If your getting approx. 50% of 1's and 100% Recovery, then you have the
Polarity and Sound Level set just right...
When you press the Trunk button, it will start Searching automaticly from
there.

If you are seeing the Dump ok,  look for lines with the "CALL" statement,
if you are
seeing the Frequency as 800 or 900Mhz, then that is working ok.  If you are
seeing
some hex code like 0xNNN, then your trunking a system I don't have
configured yet.

Are the Trunk Groups you are trying to monitor in the 138-139mhz or 400Mhz
area?
  If so, then that is the problem.  If not,  and you are trunking a 800Mhz
system, then
try switching to "Splinter" for the Band Plan...

The "FSK" mode in the program, sets the Mode value to '4' as seen in the
public notes
of the PCR protocol as unused/unknown...  This is Narrow FM with Frequency
Centering
info turned off.  You will also see the Signal Meter having lesss jitter
than in FM Mode..
This is the mode that I suspect that the Darc32/UT-107 uses in Japan...
Still unverified...

The squelch setting on mine is set to about 9:45-10:00, compared to a minute
hand on a clock...
