Same here in VK2 our GRN is on 410 MHz.  The 780 XLT trunks it fine once you
got the magic numbers.  Before I got the 780 I was using "Trunk Tracker"
with 2 radios and once you got trunker to identify the frequencies
associated with a control channel and quit the program it saved a txt file
with what it thought was the channels, all as 800 MHz freqs.  A local guy
wrote a little dos program that converts the hexadecimal 800mhz frequencies
to 400mhz.  Restart Trunker and worked great.  I got the program from here
www.ozemail.com.au/~mkpowell.htm but I don't know if it is still there.  If
not ask and I'll send it.  I also have access to some 800 Mhz Trunking
systems so once I get it sorted I will report back.
But as far as I am concerned this is a fanstastic new use for the PCR 1000.
