I sometimes have to change the monitor resolution to "tune out" the
interference.

My worst interference source has always been my flatbed scanner. This
said, my experience in using the pcr1000 (and other receivers) for
receiving satellite transmissions and other tough signals is that... it
is a waste of time to hunt down the myriad of interference sources. It
is a matter of signal to noise ratio and the only way to get results is
to increase signal with a better antenna system rather than go crazy
trying to reduce all the noise in the world. Dale
