Hi,

there IS a demo version on bonito's website. Radiocom 4. The first of three
files is http://www.bonito.net/software/rc_install.exe. Also Radiocom is now
an official part of recent PCR-1000 shipments. Read
http://www.icomamerica.com/receivers/pc/icpcr1000main.html where it says:
"NOW SHIPPING WITH Bonito software for Windows�. Open a new world of
receiver capabilities to your famous little ICOM Black Box! See your
authorized ICOM dealer for details." Same thing in Europe

do you mean Radiocomm ? with 2 'm'.
I have read about "Radiocomm" to corrupt the EEPROM

"RadioCom" by Bonito does not affect the EEPROM to run.
Also, has been tested by ICOM .
Furthermore, there is no DEMO version of "RadioCom" for download.
So, most likely, you were using "Radiocomm".
"RadioCom" works on my system with WIN-XP.
