Hello Bruce. Before I spent any LLL's at Icom for resetting an EEPROM I
might try to use the generic codes that were published earlier when there
seemed to be a lot of prom pranging going on. I might be able to find the
file with this info if the idea wins approval amongst the list members, who
are a LOT more technically savvy than I am. Good luck. Vic Culver

Hi All,
I seem to have experienced the dreaded corruption (very low S meter
readings, poor band scope activity & reduced sensitivity in general) on one
of my PCR-1000's (this occurred no less than with Icom's software). My
question is, how much am I going to be set back for from Icom to get the
prom reset from those of you who have had this happen ??
