Hello
I lost my backup of the EPROM and the EPROM is now corrupt and that is
the bottom line. I can not restore anything its gone......

In reality...the virus probably did not effect the PCR-1000 at all...it
might
have eaten the control program you were using...when you get stabilized just
reload the control program you were using and you might be all set.....

What do you meen "lost everything"?
Do you know what virus you got? Norton do fail to find some viruses...
Did you use windows 9X or windows 2k? I dont get it... why not boot to
DOS and copy the RAD or BIN (depends what backup-prog you used) to
a floppy or something. >>
