[PCR-1000] Re: PCR1000 serial cable substitute? Shielding problem?

I Don't think it's noise picked up from the antenna. If I disconnect the
PCR1000's antenna, sit another shortwave radio a few feet from the PCR1000,
and turn the PCR1000 on... the buzzing and interference starts up on the
other shortwave radio. You can even hear the buzzing 50 feet away on another
shortwave radio! Seems like either the PCR1000 or its serial cable is
emitting interference. I'm stumped.
