[PCR-1000] Windows xp

Good Evening all,

Any tips for running a pcr1000 on windows xp professional? I hear it can
be done, but it is bamboozling me.

The regular icom software doesn't work at all, of course, and talkpcr
2.4 freezes up my entire machine, unless run in demo mode.

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I am new to this list, so I
appreciate your understanding.
