Hi all,

Back to back diodes across the antenna input should cure the problem with no
degradation of signal.

By the way I am still waiting for my PCR-1000 to be returned from ICOM
Australia, it was sent to them in December!!! I have spoken to them on a
couple of occasions and have been told......"we don't actually know what's
wrong with it"!

All the best from Jakarta, Indonesia

I wonder if the age-old trick of putting a neon bulb across the antenna
socket would help. Although it might crud up VHF-UHF...
