In principle I agree, but I assume automated techniques are used to =
build the PCR1K's, with components from the same roll. As we know, it is =
difficult today to fabricate e.g. resistors with a tolerance bigger then =
2%. Anyway, as one takes a backup first, there is no harm done anyway. I =
downloaded a EPROM version form a s/n a few hundreds away, and I tried =
the weighted values someone else posted, and both gave a considerable =
improvement on my receiver.=20
