[PCR-1000] PCR1000 Windows XP

Folks,
I have tried and retried the "fix" discussed on this list to make the
original ICOM software work under my "Home Version" of Windows XP with NO
luck, I still get the APPLICATION ERROR - PCR1000 caused a General
Protection Fault in module OLE2DISP.DLL at 0001:0B20?.  I have replaced the
TOOLBARSHOW=1 with TOOLBARSHOW=0 to no avail.  I have tried deleting the
line entirely, still the same results.

I really don't mind the ICOM software for how I use the radio but unless
someone has some other ideas that I can try, it appears to be the end of a
era here.  I simply cannot execute the program under XP.
