[PCR-1000] using the PCR1000 with palm devices:

I have an old Palm III and for this application I just use the Palm serial
adapter as a cable. Had to make up a gender changer from an old socket/plug
but others have said they just bought a commercial gender changer and used
that. (I couldn't get a gender changer here - never heard of 'em!)  Saves
destroying the serial cable.

PCRPilot is really handy and works pretty well for ultimate portability.
