Scott,

No problem.  It is of particular benefit to those using a discone antenna
for VHF/UHF reception and a pre-amp on that discone.  There tends to be a
bleeding of other frequencies through to that particular frequency range,
and the filter stops that.  It was well worth the investment I made of
50us$.  It only took about a week and a half to arrive, but it was the last
one this particular place carried..... www.flightdeck.com ....in case you're
interested in looking more closely at the filter.
