Consider XP a "self healing" software...not good for those of us who know how 
to solve "issues" however a step toward those who require a "transparent" 
interface....

This is not an affirmation for the platform, but rather an announcement that 
those who want to "play" with their  Microsoft operating system may want to 
take from 1-3 steps backwards...maybe even to WIN 95

I personally run WIN 95 and 98SE here...and everything works....find a disk 
or two and enjoy your amateur radio experience...
