[PCR-1000] Windows CE? DOS?

Two questions:
(1) Has anyone controlled the PCR-1000 with one of the Windows-CE devices?

(2) I know there'a a DOS version of talkpcr: are there any comments on how
much of a compromise that is, compared to the regular Windows talkpcr or
other programs?
