Hello agzol,
Nearly all of my listening is SSB.
I assume that you are using the Icom software.
I use the 3khz filter on almost all receptions.
I do not know where you are located but I assume it is Europe.
The US Air Force Global HF can usually be heard world wide on 11.175, 8.992,
8.864, or 5.616 USB if you wait long enough for a transmission.
You might test it on those freqs. and see how it goes.....
Hope it works for you! I have had my PCR for 3 years or so and have
been very happy w/ it. It does just as good as my R-75 does!
