[PCR-1000] Ground Hum

Hi All,
I have redundant TV coax cable coming down from my loft. Can I use this
to connect to my antenna for the pcr1000?

Floating grounds can be a potentially hazardous condition to electronic 
components. I managed to destroy an Icom CT-17 years back because of 
floating grounds - needless to say, my equipment is now well-grounded,
to 
the same ground.
