Hi,
I have the same problem with my PCR trying to attach it on an IBM think pad
with only USB ports.
If you ever get a solution, can you please forward the details to me as
well.

This is a stupid question, please be kind. Is there any way to convert the
serial port to a usb port for the 1000? I have a Sony z-505 with 2 usb
ports. The serial port is on a stupid add on plug in . Ivan
