[PCR-1000] TalkPCR Signal Strength

Hope this isn't an old question.
Has anyone calibrated their radio with a signal generator to verify the accuracy of the various signal strength measurement schemes available with TalkPCR?  The program supplies a corrected lookup table for the CaldBm meter setting but questions in the helpfile if this is applicable to all serial numbers.  My interest is in the 150-160Mhz marine band range.  Any research results greatly appreciated.
