This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and scattered thunderstorms will continue overspreading much
of the region this morning. By this afternoon, precipitation will
gradually weaken and taper off from the northwest, with a temporary
lull expected.

More thunderstorms will develop in southeast Oklahoma and northern
Texas late this afternoon and into the evening. Storms will head into
southwest Arkansas tonight, with the potential of severe weather and
heavy rain. Storms that become severe could produce damaging winds
and large hail. Two to three inches of rain could occur in places,
and this may lead to flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday Through Tuesday

>From Thursday through Saturday, the front responsible for the active
pattern recently will slowly wobble across Arkansas from the
northwest. While good chances of rain will continue, high water
issues and severe storms should be localized.

The front will exit the region by late in the weekend, with
thunderstorms becoming isolated.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation may be needed tonight.
