Hey JJ, long time no hear.
Hey I thought you might want to know, just in case your travels bring you south someday, that we/N5SEA made a change to a couple of repeaters.
Our 146.610 and 444.975 both YSF repeaters running in AUTO Mode use DCS 023 now.
By switching to DIGITAL CODED SQUELCH the squelch tail is almost completely quite now, no more ka-chunk every time you unkey.
Haven’t quite got Don /Scott onboard with the idea so far.

(I mean my word someone would have to reprogram their radios!)
Anywho we love the quite crash now at least on these two.

We’re still living in our camper in West Crossett.
Still planning on building/moving to Sterlington La. after I retire in about 13 months.

And…………. The new SHARKRF openSPOT2 is coming out soon.
