Greetings all hams!! We had our monthly meeting this Tuesday. Attending were
n5rn,kf5sro,kk5zd andn5jwj. Sorry you missed us! We voted to buy an ARRL
handbook to donate as a door prize for the DEWITT HAMFEST coming up MAY4th.
PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND and help get more activity in  seark for ham radio. The
GRAND PRAIRIE ARC has started a very good effort to host this affair.  They
all are due a big thanks!! ALSO KEEP IN MIND THE UPCOMING TECHNICIAN CLASS!!
Starting april 23 at 6:30pm at the Jefferson County Office Of Emergency
Management. Please let anyone you have heard  that might be interested in
joining this GREAT HOBBY know of it.WE NEED MORE HAMS!!!! Class will run 4
weeks 1 night a week and the last class will be the test session. Also
anyone wanting to take a General or Extra class test please contact me or
glenn,n5rn and arrangements will be made to test any and all!!! GET ON THE
AIR AND HAVE FUN!!! BIG THANKS TO JOHN,N5VGJ AND GLENN,N5RN ALONG WITH
MYSELF FOR RUNNING THE RAILROADIANNA SPECIAL EVENT STATION! We had a good
day with 100 contacts!
