RUSSELLVILLE - Mary Ellen

Isom Jehlen, age 84, of Russellville,

passed away on Saturday,

Sept. 29, 2012, at her home.

She was born Aug. 20, 1928,

at Morrilton, to Milburn and

Sarah Effie Jones Isom. She was

a 1946 graduate of Pine Bluff

High School, and retired from

Arkansas Oak Flooring in Pine

Bluff. She was a member of First

United Methodist Church in Russellville,

and a former member

of Hawley United Methodist

Church and White Hall United

Methodist Church in Jefferson

County.

She was preceded in death

by her parents; her husband,

John Ervin Jehlen Sr.; her son,

John Ervin Jehlen Jr.; and her

brother, Milburn "Bud" Isom.

Survivors include her sister, Ida

Ruth Isom Chambliss of Russellville;

her daughter-in-law, Carol

Veach Jehlen of Russellville; her

grandchildren, Jordan Blakely

Jehlen of Guy, David and Jessica

Morris of Russellville, and Mike

and Lindi Wade of Jonesboro;

and three great-grandchildren,

Hayden Wade and Drake and

Brody Morris.

Graveside service and burial

will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct.

2, 2012, at Graceland Cemetery

in Pine Bluff. The Rev. Roy Smith,

pastor of First United Methodist

Church in Russellville, will officiate.
