[PBARC] RC-210 firmware release soon!

A note about the upcoming firmware release... I will be moving the all of
the ARCOM rc-210 controllers to this release.  I will keep you posted as to
when which repeater will be updated.

It appears that firmware 5.293 (which has been in beta for several 
months) is now ready for release. We hope to do so next week.

I thought I would give everyone a heads-up about this as there are 
some MAJOR changes in this version (not the least of which is no 
mysterious resets!). But we have also added a LOT of new features 
including the ability to use a Port's receiver going active or 
inactive to run a Macro. Of course, added functionality provided by 
the RTC is now fully useable as well.

There will also be a new manual available as well which will give you 
all the gory details on how to use the new goodies.

Here's the list of additions/changes:

Added support for Kenwood TM-V71a/TM-D710 mobiles

Finished support for RTC. On startup, RC210 checks for the presence 
of the RTC Module. If it exists,
the Clock and Calendar are set and additional programming parameters 
are enabled (such as the capability
to program additional Remote Base Memories, DTMF Memories, etc.). If 
not found, the RC210 behaves as usual. (additionally, if not found, 
you are prompted if you want to enable the additional memories 
anyway. This allows for editing at home and taking the computer to 
the repeater site later)

Added programming parameters for:

Remote Base Memories 11 - 40
DTMF Memories 21 - 50
Message Macros 41 - 70

When you apply the Clock Correction Factor, it is also applied to the 
RTC (if present).

****ADDED ADDITIONAL MACRO FUNCTIONS****

There are now additional Macro Functions to support the RTC Memories 
and some existing Macro Function
Numbers have been changed (reassigned). Specifically:

CHANGE: Stop General Timers used to be Functions 391 - 393. They are
now 350 - 352

NEW: Remote Base Power Select Macro Functions 353 - 355

CHANGE: Macro Subset Disable/Enable used to be 397 - 398. They are
now 356 - 357

NEW: New Macro Functions that allow you to use Receiver Activity to 
run Macros, based on whether that
receiver is going active or inactive (If ON, going Active calls one 
Macro, going Inactive calls a different Macro)

NEW: Load Clock and Calendar with RTC value Function 454

CHANGE: Suspend Setpoint 1 - 20 used to be 351 - 370. They are now 460 - 479

CHANGE: Resume Setpoint 1 - 20 used to be 371 - 390. They are now 480 - 499

CHANGE: Call Macro 1 - 90 used to be 401 - 490. They are now 501 - 590

*****NOTE: ANY MACRO FUNCTION GREATER THAN 510 TAKES 3 SLOTS.****

provides support for the new features and changes.
