FYI -

 From Georgia Seward about the Arky 100 bicycle race.  We are thinking 
about incorporating a SET exercise in this activity as well.

The Arky 100 Bicycle Race, which ranges north to south from Tull to 
Carthage and east to west from Sheridan to Poyen and Rolla.
There are several races:  a 100 mi., a 75 mi., a 60 mi., and a 50 mi. 
and that takes LOTS of operators.
Moral of the story:  EVERYONE IS WELCOME.  We can find a place for 
everyone.  This will be a simplex operation on 2 m.  If you don't have a 
mobile radio and at least a 5/8 wave antenna, some of the rest of 
us have extra equipment and we can help out.

That will be OCT 12 - a Sunday morning.  I think the start of the race 
will be about 0800 and net control will need to be in position by 0730 
and some of the other spots can take a little longer.
 
The net control site will be at Prattsville again.
