Today, Sunday, and Monday, we should have a few severe thunderstorms
in Arkansas each day. The favored time will be from early afternoon
through mid evening, and damaging winds will be the main severe
weather threat.

Today, I suspect the greatest coverage of storms will be over the
northern half of the state, as will be the best chances for more
concentrated heavy rains. For Sunday and Monday, a weak cold front
will be in the state, so it looks as though the coverage of storms
will be pretty evenly distributed around the state.

Each day, the strongest storms will easily dump 2 to 3 inches of rain.

I will issue the next message around 11:00 AM Sunday.
