[PBARC] Camporee at Lack Montcello Oct 14 thru 16

The DeSoto Council has scheduled a Camporee for 14-15-16 October on the
NORTH end of Lake Monticello.  Previous info said the south end of the lake!
Saturday 15 October in the PM is when we are scheduled to run the JOTA
operation.  We set up early Saturday.  We may aid work on COMMUNICATIONS and
on EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS Merit Badges as the JOTA event can aid their work
on these.  Terry Crook is the Camporee committee chair in Monticello.    I
am trying to corral the logistics of who and what equipment - so please
advise.  Blaine Emanis K5WBE, Bruce Rushton KB5ROZ and Richard Kennedy
KD5PTG are very tentative at this time.  The Monticello club does not seem
active and Clint Mote KD5JOA and Terry Brewer WB5HIL are the only hams I
have found in that area.

I am bringing a Kenwood 570, tuner, Cushcraft R7, shelter and a generator so
far.  Need more equipment and HAMs!  Another HF radio, tuner and antenna
would help.  Additional batteries or generator also.

Please advise if you can come and set up before noon Saturday as we need
info for planning!  I don't usually do one man events, but have zero
commitments at this time.
