I got this at work....

Entergy employees need to watch for a sophisticated e-mail scam.
This e-mail is sent from a bogus "Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation"
address to lure you to send personal information -- including your name,
date of birth, Social Security Number, bank account information, phone
numbers, passwords, etc. -- to an unknown entity.
By watching for this message you can prevent your identity from being
stolen. While FDIC reports that the bogus Website was shutdown on Friday,
similar scams may be in the works.
An e-mail may come to you with the subject line "IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT YOUR
BANK ACCOUNT." It will be from FDIC and the message will read: To whom it
may concern // In cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security,
Federal, State and Local Governments your account has been denied insurance
from the [FDIC] due to suspected violations of the Patriot Act."
The e-mail goes to ask youi to verify personal information through
"IDVerify," and provides a link. THIS IS A HOAX. DO NOT RESPOND TO THE
E-MAILand DO NOT CLICK ON THE PROVIDED LINK.
You can forward the e-mail to: [email protected]. This site has been verified
as the legitimate FDIC website, and they are tracking these e-mails.
