I tried to send this before but something didn't work... So here's try two:

Not to replace the minutes that Mary Ellen took at last night's meeting, I
wanted to touch on the major things that happened last night

1) A proposal to amend the constitution to allow the president to set the
date, time, and location of the next meeting.  Presently, the constitution
requires the club meeting to be on the third Tuesday of the month.   The
constitution presently sets the meeting date as the 3rd Tuesday of the
month.

This change will allow us to hold meeting at different locations throughout
the area.  The was some discussion on holding the October meeting at the
White Hall branch of PBNB on Dollarway road.  This was generally agreed too.
However, I need to remind everyone that this can't be decided until this
amendment is approved.  For the short term, the meetings are still at the
OEM on the third Tuesday.  The earliest change could be that the October
meeting and it would be on the second Tuesday (since that is the only day
the room is available) at the WH PBNB branch.

IMHO, I think we need to schedule quarterly meetings (or maybe semi-annual)
meetings at the OEM just to keep a presence down there (face recognition).
They probably benefit from seeing us down there.  They will recognize us.  I
don't know if the second Tuesday of the month is available for us to use the
men's bunking room or not but we need to look at it.

2) The details of electing officers was cleared up.  The constitution will
be corrected to reflect that the officers are elected in August not
September.

3) Officers were elected:  Glenn - President  John G - Vice President  Mary
Ellen - Secretary/Treasurer
