   The Pine Bluff Amateur Radio Club met October 21, 2003, with 9 =
members and 1 visitor present.  The minutes were read and approved.  The =
treasurer's report was given with a balance of $ =20

     REPEATER REPORTS:  The 24 repeater has been repaired by Earl.  All =
other repeaters are up and running.

     ARES/RACES:  Jack reported on the SET exercise, with 5 members =
participating.  He also reported on the ARES/RACES meeting held in =
Conway. =20

     OLD BUSINESS:  The club has received a letter from the White Hall =
Library thanking us for the "Now You Are Talking Book".  Glenn reported =
on his meeting the Stan and the Boy Scouts at the Centennial Church.  =
There are four or five Scouts interested in Ham Radio. =20

    NEW BUSINESS:  A VE test date will be set later.  Susan said they =
need help at the Little Rock Zoo.  More information on this will be =
furnished later.  Bobby stated they would need help in the Old Folks =
Home at Benton for Christmas.

     John presented a video on BPL, the noise that comes from power =
lines.  Earl stated the range from transmission is 25 KC to 200 KC.

     After the business meeting adjourned, the new RACES van was toured.
