Glenn,Sorry for the last minute change, but after some thought,I think it will be ok to start sat morning at 0800hrs.The scouts are having a fall camporee the next weekend and the staying overnight this weekend just didn't seem the thing to do after speaking with the parents. I still would like the club to be invovled,we could have more than one radio going at a time.I plan to go out sometime friday and get my antenna in the air.If anyone wants to get with me, please let me know.I know of 4 cub scout packs and at least 2 boy troops that are planning to attend.I will let you know if any thing else comes up. stan OLF, EARNEST G" <[email protected]> wrote:Glenn,
I have been on the East coast, so I haven't gotten my game plan all together yet. At this time I'm planning on having it at Centennial church. I have radio,g5rv antenna,40 meter whips,10 meter whips, coax and batteries. We could use commercial ac if we wanted to. We will be away from all interference and we can be outdoors if the weather permits or indoors. I would like to start midnight Fri night and go all day Sat. I haven't gotten a number on Scouts as of yet. I hope this helps. I will keep you posted on my progress. thanks, Stan.
