Got this today, looks like our part in the August drill has been =
cancelled.
This was the exercise that ADEM was going ot take part in as state =
RACES.

Based on the need to pay close attention to the possibility that this
 nation will soon be at war, the Homeland Security RACES Radio
 Communications Exercise sponsored by the Idaho Bureau of Disaster =
Services
 and the State Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) is =
cancelled
 except for the SHARES portion of the exercise. =20

The following program functional exercises for August 2003 are =
cancelled:

FNARS
 RACES
 SECURE
=20
In the event that the National Communications System (NCS) determines =
that
 it will still be able to conduct the SHARES Exercise in August as
 currently scheduled, State RACES and BDS personnel will host the SHARES
 Exercise in Boise in August.

A RACES-only exercise in the future is still potentially do-able, =
however,
 the state of the nation will have to take priority at this time.  Best
