DEADLINE NEAR FOR BROADBAND OVER POWERLINE (BPL) COMMENTS

We have until August 20 to file reply comments with the FCC on the BPL
issue.  Many of us filed initial comments before the July 7 deadline and
we are now in the "Reply to Comments" phase of the FCC's Notice of
Inquiry (NOI) on BPL.  If you haven't filed anything yet on this very
important issue, please consider doing so in the next few days.  As of
August 12 there were just over 2900 comments filed.  You can view all of
these comments at

http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/ecfs/comsrch_v2.cgi

Type "03-104" in the "Proceeding" field and then click on the "Retrieve
Document List" button at the bottom to bring up a list of all of the BPL
comments filed.

Here's how you can submit your own comments on BPL:

1. Go to http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/ecfs/upload_v2.cgi

2. Type "03-104" in Box 1 (the "Procedding" field)

3. Complete all required boxes (2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12)

4. Attach your file in .doc, .pdf, etc. in the first large box and click
"Send Attached File to FCC"  OR,

5. For shorter comments, simply type your comments directly into the
bottom large box and then click "Send Brief Comments to FCC"

After step 4 or 5, another screen should appear where you need to click
the "Finish Transaction and Receive Confirmation" box.  If you did
everything correctly, you should then receive a confirmation on the next
screen.
