[Park] Wacky Prediction

Ahoy !

People back in 1908 were as nutty as they are today..can you believe 
that it was predicted that,   " When the expectations of wireless 
experts are realized everyone will have his own pocket telephone and may 
be called wherever he happens to be";          "The citizen of the 
wireless age will walk abroad with a receiving apparatus compactly 
arranged in his hat and tuned to that one of the myriad vibrations by 
which he has chosen to be called..."

Why would anyone even want a telephone to be carried about and how much  
is there to be talked about that such a thing would be necessary? Those 
folks had some imagination.

Probably some efficiency minded experts already trying to put 
telegraphists out of work.
