All systems are GO ! I talked to Frank Pollock and e-mailed Paul Milenkowic,
and we are all set. We will be operating from the same spot as last year.
They are delighted we will be participating, and they only ask that we
provide a list of the places (not hams) we contact during the event so they
can publish it on their website.

I also talked to Frank Brown today, owner of the Best Western and an old
friend, who would be happy to let us use his hotel's roof to hang our
dipole. Judy and I will stop there later in the week to take a tour of the
roof to see exactly what is available in terms of mounting points.

I would like to schedule ops to specific times. We will be operating for a
period of four hours. I would like to see at least 8 ops (30 minutes each).
If we have 12 ops available and interested, then each would operate 20
minutes. This way, you don't have to spend the whole morning and afternoon
there , unless you want to !

We may need some extra coax (some form on mini-8 preferred), and some barrel
connectors. Ladder line is another option.

If you are interested in taking part in this fun event, please call me at
(570) 424-0945 or e-mail to [email protected] .
