PARK DISPLAY WINS BLUE RIBBON AT WEST END FAIR

Gilbert, PA : Our President, Nancy Miller, KB3FUS, just received word from
Betsy Bartholomew, KB3BMG, our senior fair correspondent, that for the
second straight year, PARK has taken the blue ribbon in group displays.

Special thanks to all those who helped with labor and/or ideas, with special
recognition to Walt Korab, W3FNZ, and Bill Rake, KB3EAX . Walt's tower took
the display from "good" to "outstanding," and Bill's lightning bolts
literally lit up the room. We really wanted to make use of Walt's strobe
light on the tower, but we decided, at the last minute, that the competition
had to have some chance to beat us (just kidding) !!
