.
To The Members of P.A.R.K.
First off I would like to thank Dave Haney & His Wife Judy for all the good
work in raising Money for the club. And I am very Grateful for their
affords.
When I first took over this job of the club treasurer in June of 1997.
First thing I paid for was field day; the total was over 400.00 dollars.
At the July 1997 meeting I told the membership it will never happen again.
That I would buy all the food for the next field day in 1998 it was 150.00
dollars Last year it was 187.00 dollars due to fuel cost, and the club pays
for the picnic also. except side dishes.
And club paid 79.00 dollars for party favors this year for the Christmas
party.
If any member goes to all events that the club puts on they would be way
ahead of the dues they pay, in food alone.
I also was at the ham fest cooking and selling food, I also spent hours
pulling all the transformers out of mike W2NVR's basement to sell at the
ham fest.
Right now we had 28 paying members in 2001 and none have paid for the year
2002 as of yet, last year we had 36 members in the year 2000, and 42 in the
year 1999.so you see how the club is declining. How many this Years?
If all 28 members elect to stay with the club the amount would be 420.00
total.
The club has about 650.00 dollars on most Decembers, this year it was
1300.00
This proposal would help all members not just the ones that show up at the
picnic or Christmas party or one in that's proposed in the spring. We need
more members and I think this is a way that might help us gain more members.
I don't care which way you vote, but come and vote on 01/10/02 and no
matter what I will be they're to help and serve the club. I am not one to
take his toys and go home. And I yell a lot because I am little hard of
hearing. But I never take it personally. People that really know me, know
I'm harmless.
