Message-ID: <1645c1d6e58-c94-1089@webjas-vad118.srv.aolmail.net> The plaque for top Mobile Multi-Operator in the 2017 PAQP arrived today. Thanks to the Skyview Amateur Radio Society for its sponsorship! My wife was a bit surprised to learn that she was part of a multioperator crew, but she did a fine job of driving I-80 across Pennsylvania. See you all again in October. And do stop by, or even come on over to Ohio, for the Ohio QSO Party on Saturday, August 25! 73 - Jim K8MR From goody.k3ng at gmail.com Thu Jul 19 17:34:55 2018 From: goody.k3ng at gmail.com (Goody K3NG) Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2018 17:34:55 -0400 Subject: [PaQSO] PA QSO Party Association Announcement Message-ID: As promised, here are some additional details on the PA QSO Party Association, the organization now responsible for coordinating the Party. The team consists of the following radio amateurs, in alphabetic order: John Bednar, K3CT Anthony (Goody) Good, K3NG Caitlin Morgan, N3CMM William (Chip) Morgan, N3IW Mark Schreiner, NK8Q Joseph (Bud) Trench, AA3B The first major task we are going to address is potential rule changes for this year's Party. To accomplish this we have assembled a Rules Committee. Along with addressing issues and concerns the team has experienced over the years participating in the event, we're going to consider feedback and suggestions from you, PAQP participants. If you would like to directly submit feedback, please email me at anthony.good at gmail.com, and I will forward your feedback to the team for consideration. We expect to clean up and clarify some rules rather than institute massive changes, and intend to defer changes that may require contest software updating to next year. Rest assured the Party will maintain the same character we are familiar with and enjoy. Undoubtedly this post will prompt folks to post rule change suggestions here and invoke discussions. We encourage civil and constructive discourse. As mentioned previously, the Party will be held the second full weekend in October as usual, which is October 13th and 14th. The new PA QSO Party website is at http://paqso.org . 73, Goody, K3NG PA QSO Party Association PR Dude
