We are pleased to announce that the Bonus Station for the 2018 Pennsylvania
QSO Party will be the Nittany Amateur Radio Club (NARC) operating under the
callsign of former PAQP Chairman, Mike Coslo, N3LI, recognizing his years
of service and dedication to the PA QSO Party.  The NARC N3LI bonus station
will be a multi-multi operation located in Centre County.  More details
will be disseminated as the event draws near.  We look forward to
continuing the tradition of the bonus station and recognizing Mike's
contributions over the years leading, administrating, and enhancing the
PAQP.

This is an excellent way for the bonus station to recognize Mike and the
Nittany ARC for all of their efforts on behalf of the PAQP.

I received a clarification on the recent update to the N1MM+ software.
This was an update of the PAQP bonus station callsign the software
recognizes, and not to implement a contest rule change per se, as was
implied by the N1MM+ change log.

As previously announced, the bonus station this year will be N3LI.

The colder weather today is a reminder that we're getting closer to fall
and soon the Party will be here!
