NA is hard to beat.  As K8MR says you can have numbers at each

county the way you want them, the utilities with NA allow you to

combine longs, etc. and calculate scores, and when the rules change

anybody with a DOS background can change the template.


As for the down side, the DOS computer is going to be a special

unit, and the fact that DOS won't support USB as far as I know

interfacing to radios etc. at the home station becomes difficult.

I use an old "Toughbook" I got for $10 bucks, loaded with

Win 2000 Pro and DOS 6.22.  I run the toughbook off it's own

deep cycle batt, no buzzboxes.  Just cut the power supply cord

and hook it to 12V!!
