[PaQSO] rover, you're a dupe

I dont think logging programs have much to do with it. Except saying its a dupe. The pqp is a complicated contest to handle which takes some user intervetion to handle. It comes down to operators.
Simply put the operator is in control of his station. You cant really do much about it. Its fourms like this that educate operators. I think in the age of internet we are losing touch with the physical mentoring that went along with ham radio. But a lot people that play in pqp are not big guns in other contests so some understanding needs to happen.
I do appreciate the fix stations spotting us rovers and mobiles out there. I also tried work you guys as fast as possible so we could move to the next county.

Jim,
NA can still be downloaded and there was an update in December 2016. I expect NA users are running the program in a DOS shell. There really is no reason for you not to use and enjoy the program you prefer.

I would have liked to use NA in the PAQP, had my DOS laptop not died. N1MM+ does not allow mobiles to keep a separate number sequence from each county, which I consider a good thing to do. Fewer numbers for the other guy to copy and type, plus anybody hearing a very low number can infer that they need that station without hearing who it is. Sending NR 273 LUZ does not immediately suggest that I m a new contact the way sending NR 4 LUZ does.
I ve used N3FJP at Field Day, and found it to be very strange. And the French guys who do WinTest apparently have never heard about the PAQP.
