[PaQSO] Sponsored Plaque Sponsors ...

Greetings!  Are you getting as excited about this upcoming weekend for the
PA QSO Party as I am?  I bet you are!

I am again helping out Mike, N3LI, our PA QSO Party Chairman, with the
administrative efforts for the sponsored plaques.  However, I'm having some
compuker problems at home right now, so at best for now hope to retrieve
last year's spreadsheet that I was keeping for the sponsored plaques.  If I
cannot retrieve it I should likely be able to find an archived email that I
sent to Mike last year.

Last year I waited until early November to send out any emails about this
and in the end we had several unfulfilled plaque sponsporships, while also
trying to create new plaque opportunities.  I hope to not repeat that again
this year, hence this email PRIOR to the big weekend.

A few of you have already contacted me or Mike to let us know that you are
still sponsoring a plaque.  Thank you for being proactive!

For those of you who directly sponsor a plaque as an individual, or through
a club that you are affiliated with, please let me know your (individual or
club's) intentions for sponsorship.  The plaque costs are still at $40 and
can be paid either via PayPal or via Check.  Information on on payment can
be found on the PA QSO Party website (here, at the bottom of this page):

If there are any areas on the PayPal page for notes, please specify the
actual plaque that you or your club is sponsoring and who the sponsor is.
That can help keep the "housekeeping" in better order (especially as the
Nittany ARC treasurer doesn't know much about the PA QSO Party anyway).

One of my other difficulties with this effort is that the contact person at
clubs often changes (typically the club treasurer) from year to year.  If
you know of any changes I need to make to my contact list please let me
know.  It will save me hours of research to find club websites and try to
find officer contact information!

My next email (if successfully retrieving the list of sponsors) will list
the various plaques and who I have listed for sponsorship.  Ideally that
will still go out late tonight but may not be until tomorrow.  Later
follow-up emails will show a paid or unpaid column as well.
