Hope to see all of you on for the OHQP on August 26 from noon till midnight EDST. At present we have 66 of 88 counties with planned activity with more to come.
If you have a mobile setup why not ride over to Ohio and drive the back roads and activate some counties?
If not, then fire up the home station, vacation station, remote station and make some QSOs.

The records page has been updated at http://nittany-arc.net/records.html .
Not a huge numbers of records were set last year, but some long-standing records have fallen, including the PAC record, which was last set in 1990, and the NOrthern New Jesey record, set in 1997. 

We have some issues with the VE records, with chanover to the ARRL version of the Canadian sections and it will be an accuracy issue to change them, so at present, we will keep the records as they are, and fill in as needed.

So for planning your record busting attempts or just to see whodunit, they are posted for you.

The Frankford Radio Club will be celbrating their 90th Anniversary this year. Let us celebrate it with them in the form of the 2017 Pennsylvania QSO Party bonus station. 

This will be a multi-station, Multi-callsign effort. The Stations will be W3FRC, W3F, W3R, and W3C. The counties that the stations will be operating will be announced in September.

Subject: [PaQSO] Ohio QSO Party - looking for more mobiles!

Now that the sun has returned to its regularly scheduled programming, it's time to think about the next on-air operating event - the Ohio QSO Party, this Saturday from noon to midnight EDT.

We can still use some more mobiles to join us on Saturday. The weather forecast for Saturday is beautiful - mid 70s and sun. Great for being out on the road touring Ohio. And there are even a couple of spots on the sun that still ought to be around for the weekend.

We hope you can come on down, or over, to join us. County activity plans are on the OhQP website, www.ohqp.org. And of course, even if you're not able to come drive around, we still would love to have you join us on the air from home!
