I took some time off before a clambake at our son-in-law’s parents in North Kingsville, OH, 15 minutes from PA, and went to the rest stop at Mile 3 of I-90 in Erie county. 46 QSOs in about 45 minutes, all on 40. Tried 20 but heard very little activity up there. This was a first time mobile operation in a new car (2015 Prius V), found some issues that I’ve fixed for tomorrow’s trip across I-80 to NJ. Hopefully no new ones will turn up with the car moving.

Timing for tomorrow will be earlier than the original guestimate of noon at the OH/PA line. My wife wants to get to NJ to watch the Indians-Red Sox game at 4:30 pm, so the new guess is 9:30 - 10:00 am EDT.

Hope to catch lots of you, and maybe fill in a few missing counties.
