[PaQSO] Mobile bonus station

The rules state (or stated) that the Bonus stations are not eligible for the usual awards. Yet, I know of a WPA club station that proudly displays their winning certificate for their home county, even though they were the bonus station that year. (And this happened prior to N3LI becoming the contest administrator).
When some of us inquired, at the time, as to how this could happen, the answer back was... well, nothing, there was no answer back.
At this point in time, the incident is so far in the past that it's a moot point. We simply accept that someone made a mistake and awarded a county cert when they shouldn't have, and otherwise wash our hands of it.

Mike,
There was a mobile bonus station in 2004. W3UU was the bonus callsign and there were multiple stations using that call - each one in a different county - and one mobile, namely KQ3F and I. The multiple stations were a little confusing for people but they eventually got the hang of it.
Joe and I covered 18 counties and logged somewhere between 1100 and 1200 QSOs. Mid-afternoon on Sunday in CLI was particularly productive - people were scrambling for needed counties and CLI was needed for very many of them. And we were also the bonus station. Needless to say we spent a lot of time there - 204 QSOs worth.
