[PaQSO] warning on PDF calculations and confirm rule for county line QSOs?

I don't think it's a dumb question at all. . . I wondered that myself.
I always counted it as three multipliers (the first contact), and one
QSO. Most of the logging programs I used over the years counted it the
same way. Last year I did run into scoring discrepancies last year when
using N1MM for the first time, which I never got to the root of, so I
simply calculated the score manually. I haven't had the time go over my
log yet, this year, so I can't comment if the score was calculated
accurately or not.

"My logger N1MM computed a higher total score than me. One reason is
that I had forgotten that the 2 Penn. sections can be counted along with
non-PA sections (this is pretty unusual). The only other discrepancy I
can think of is for county line operations. For example, I thought that
when you contact a 3-county station, that you counted 3 counties BUT
ONLY ONE QSO. However, when I went back to read the rules, it's not
clear ... the rules say that the county-line station gives out a single
serial number, but that's not the same as explicitly saying that there
is only one QSO point. So, do I count a 3-county county-line station as
3 QSOs or 1 QSO? Hope this isn't a dumb question. -- Pete K0BAK
